Payment by PayPal

This website is PayPal equipped and a regular transaction occurs as follows: You look through our design selection, decide to buy a specific design by clicking on the PayPal button 'Add to cart'; another windows launches the PayPal website, as your shopping cart is hosted/administrated by the secure PayPal servers. When you pay, either your money transfers, credit-card info, etc, all take place on the PayPal secure server. Immediately after you pay, the money is tranferred to the Nicole Kidd Design merchant account at PayPal, as well as the necessary customer info for Nicole Kidd Designs to ship the merchandise, or contact you, the buyer, directly. Availability

All items that are in stock will be shipped within one (1) to five (5) days of payment confirmation. If an item is no longer in stock, because of a previous sale, you will be notified within one business day by email. Options for ordering a similar item and an alternative time frame will be included in this email notice. 

Custom/commission orders are usually delivered between one to three weeks of order and payment confirmation depending on material availability and design considerations. A concrete estimate of delivery will be discussed at time of order. Special orders are final sales.

Note: While we strive to deliver exactly what you see online or at a trunkshow, there will be minor variations, e.g. in color, shapes and texture. Handcrafted jewelry always includes subtle differences, even when a design is reproduced. Please allow for these slight variations, as no two pieces of handmade jewelry can be identical. Please do not hesitate to call or email if you want more information about what these slight differences might be. If I cannot recreate the piece with similar gems due to unavailability, I will contact you by email or phone to discuss alternatives.

Pricing

Due to the ongoing fluctuations in the gold and silver markets, prices might be subject to change, esp. for any handmade, sterling silver chains, clasps, focal beads. If you order an item that would incur a price increase, for example, when the desired design is out-of-stock and its supplies have to be reordered, your credit card will not be charged until after we have notified you of the price change and you authorize the relevant increase. 

Shipping Methods

All items are shipped insured for the value of the item(s) via UPS ground with a tracking number (unless otherwise requested) and normally take 3-7 business days. Expedited shipping is available upon request and for the appropriate extra fee -please call prior to placing your order. A flat shipping and handling rate of $15 within the U.S. applies for all packages. Our jewelry arrives in a complimentary jewelry box unless otherwise instructed. Unfortunately, international shipping fees (for shipments that are traceable and insured), quoted by UPSP and UPS, are discouragingly expensive at around $50 for jewelry shipment of $500 and below - but we'll gladly fill your international order should those fees not squash your enthusiasm for our designs.

Sales Tax

A sales tax of 8.5% is added to all orders shipped to California addresses. A sales tax of 6.25% is added to all orders shipped to Ohio addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipments to gift recipients outside California and Ohio.
