Yup, it's confounding to navigate the different labels for chain lengths, and this helpful image (see above) helps with guiding you toward your preferred layering. Know that I will give you what YOU NEED, and this guide serves as a starting point for our collaboration to your fullest happy-faction. Moreover, when you look at our product pages, you will see "Total Length" highlighted: The range, for example, 17-19 inches, reflects the 2-inch extender chain that I always include with each chain. 😃
